the food is great. sauces were good quality and the speed of the food was perfect. the place itself is nothing to write home about, but I needed a breakfast burrito and fast and I got it in 6 minutes and it was delicious. thats all that matters in mexican food

11 years ago the girl I was in love with took me here for a plate of Carne Asada fries. While I was eating she asked me if I liked her. Having nothing else to say I said yes. Well I ended up marrying that girl and have two beautiful kids with her. So thank you Sombrero’s for the fries and the wife.

I ordered the Menudo which I order 80% of the time on my visits, it is the best of the many places I have ordered in San Diego rivaling many LA eateries. If not Menudo its either Carnitas plate or Carnitas Burro, Grandkids always order Bean n Cheese Burritos or Bean n Cheese Burrito combo rice & beans Food is always Hot, Tasty & Flavorful Since moving from LA we have become 312 yr Regulars Definitely coming back

When in this plaza we typically go to Santana's - it has a drive thru and we have been there often. But it was very crowded so we decided to go to Sombrero instead. The service was good, the food was tasty and the store was clean. Other than not having a drive thru it was just as good (store was brighter and cleaner) than Santana's.
